May the 4th be with you!

Last weekend we had our first ever "Battle for Jakku", Star Wars themed paintball outing at California Paintball Park in Castaic CA. The event was put on by Max Impact Paintball, and featured raffle prizes, a charity auction and lots of Star Wars themed fun.  After the event we hosted the after party at our store. There was free hamburgers and hot dogs, lots of product sales and discounts, a live DJ, and lots of fun. Special thanks to Combat Radio, Max's Creations, https://www.facebook.com/cosplayforjedi , Alicia B at PBX3 Magazine, and Robbie-Mac for the great burgers.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on what kind of events you would like to see us host. Leave your ideas in the comments below.

Why is Ninja's SL tank lighter than regular carbon fiber?

Ever wonder why the Ninja SL tank is lighter and smaller than a regular carbon fiber tank?

It's all in the weave......

First lets talk about how a carbon fiber air tank is made. Many people don't realize this, but it actually starts with an aluminium bottle. They produce an aluminium tank with relatively thin walls, and then wrap it with carbon fiber to make it stronger. The result is a tank that is lighter and stronger than one made from all aluminium.

Here is where the SL comes in. Ninja started experimenting with just how thin they can make the aluminium in the base tank. They were able to make it thinner than ever before because they also changed the way they wrap the carbon. The new wrapping method makes the tank even stronger, so that means they can make the walls even thinner.

The result is a tank that has much thinner walls, but is just as strong as a normal tank. This is how they can make a tank that is 30% lighter. This is also why the tank is smaller on the outside while keeping the same internal capacity.

Check out this video where Ray from Ninja explains the whole process.

Paintball Revolution New Website Launch January 28, 2016!!!!!

We hope you love the new website, hopefully you will find your experience much improved. Our goal was to make shopping easier for you so we've streamlined the navigational structure, are using more filters (no more deep fishing to find product!) and we've added new categories that hopefully reflect what you'd like to shop for. We're really proud of the categories featured at PBR Exclusives because we have custom products that no one else in the industry has.  We have also increased the size of our images and fonts for easier view and a more comfortable experience. Lastly, if you're reading this, you've found our new lifestyle section.  We've always had Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, etc, but now we've harnessed it all into one place for ease of exploring.  We've added a whole new Learning Center geared towards tutorials and how-to's. For those of you new to paintball, we have built a list of the must have gear for getting started.  We have a lot more product still to add, and we're still streamlining some of the listings (there are a million Jersey listings cause there is a listing for each size)...But we really wanted to launch what we have so far! We'd love your feedback so please drop us a line.
